When dining near celebrity artifacts wasn’t enough, Planet Hollywood restaurants and The Hollywood Reporter decided to put the stars right on the table. 

Each month, the latest film releases, celebrity quotes and a calendar of events would adorn the placemats, entertaining guests at the restaurant, which had locations in London, Paris, Times Square in New York, Caesars’ Palace in Las Vegas, Downtown Disney in Orlando, Fla. and LAX. 

Each placemat included The Hollywood Reporter’s most popular section, “Yes, I did say that!” Which is a quote accompanied by a cutout of that celebrity.

The project included a calendar with celebrity birthdays and film, TV and music releases, as well as four stills from upcoming films and a historical feature.

Special editions, like the list of top 100 films seen above, added to the variety and novelty of this part of the Planet Hollywood dining experience.
